i won a starbucks gift card at school! all we had to do was reply back first to a question in an email from our librarians. yay for free coffee and caramel apple spices!

i have discovered that my "healthiest" source of caffiene in the mornings is a diet snapple peach tea. i love coffee, but for whatever reason why, i cannot drink it everyday before school without it starting to make me feel funny. however, snapple is a good option...just enough caffeiene to keep me from being too grumpy to the kids in the morning :)

the group of girls i met with throughout the summer started a new bible study tonight. technically, it is moreso a book study than a bible study although her backing is very much biblical. we are going through so long insecurity... by beth moore this fall. what girl cannot admit to a few insecurities?!

my first high school football game in texas. i have quite a few football players in my classes this year and others were students of mine last year. i had several proud moments throughout the game as those guys performed well. their win was a great way for these guys to start the season.
