it did not last long because of how yummy it was, but here is a before shot of the birthday cake katy made for me. a peanut butter cake with chocolate frosting, topped with peanut butter m&m's. yum.

i was very blessed with a wonderful birthday this year filled with lots of kind words from family & friends and day a spent with my wonderful husband and our great friend, katy. we had breakfast (and dinner) at one of our favorite houston restaurants, went shopping, ate cupcakes, and went to see a movie.

after an entirely two months too long of not hanging out, we went to kyle and jamie's for kason's birthday party. he is one of the smartest two-year-olds i know and such a cutie. check out the awesome cupcakes and tower that jamie made!
