a day off to travel to see family was made even better by the unbelievably gorgeous drive through the snow in east texas. wow...can you believe this was actually texas???

i hope this picture does justice to the gorgeous sunset i witnessed as i pulled into the parking lot at houston first baptist for bible study. believe me, it was beautiful.
i feel so accomplished in the kitchen when a good meal has been prepared for dinner, dishes have been put away after, and the kitchen is clean. ah, who doesn't love a clean kitchen, right?!
